Local Schools
The Maryville City School District has grown to include 4,800 students with a mission to prepare students for a lifetime of learning and responsible citizenship. Maryville students and teachers are recognized leaders in the state of Tennessee and received a 2006 Tennessee Report Card of straight A’s.

There are more than 100 restaurants in the Maryville area and residents may choose from down-home local cafes, fine restaurants or familiar chains.
Recreation
The Greenbelt Pavilion is located on Hwy 321 near the Blount County Courthouse and Theater in the Park. The Pavilion is available to the community for picnics and similar activities on a first come, first served basis.
The Theater in the Park, located on Lamar Alexander Parkway near the Blount County Courthouse, and provides the area with a first class outdoor theater venue. Community events held each year include a symphony performance by the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, movie nights, choral concerts, as well as the nationally recognized Foothills Fall Festival.
